White House OSTP Issues Updated Guidance on Open Access to Federally Funded Research and Data On August 24, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy announced the release of guidance that would ensure that publications and data from federally funded research be made publicly available immediately on release. ÐÜèÊÓÆµmembers who have recently passed away
Walter M. Haney, 76, died on August 31. He served as a professor at the Boston College Lynch School of Education and Human Development and a senior research associate at the Center for the Study of Testing, Evaluation, and Educational Policy.
Jeremy Kilpatrick, 86, died on September 17. Kilpatrick was Regents Professor of Mathematics Education at the University of Georgia. He was an ÐÜèÊÓÆµFellow and served on the ÐÜèÊÓÆµGrants Program Governing Board.
Nel Noddings, 93, died on August 25. Noddings was the Lee L. Jacks Professor, Emerita, at Stanford Graduate School of Education. She was an ÐÜèÊÓÆµFellow.
Susan Bell Trickett, 66, died on August 8. She was a senior impact consultant at ResultsLab and had earlier served as executive director of the Cogntive Science Society.
