IES has released the FY 2024 Education Research Grants Program (RFA). The application deadline is September 21, 2023. Through this grants program, IES supports both basic and applied research focused on helping to improve education experiences and outcomes for learners in the United States.
Don Beach, 76, died April 19. He was a Regents Professor and former dean at Tarleton State University. Beach was a member of Division A–Administration, Organization and Leadership.
Clive M. Beck, 84, died on June 30. He was a professor emeritus at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
Judith A. Dawson, 84, died on July 25. She retired from the Illinois State Board of Education, where she worked in evaluation and assessment.
