熊猫视频members are encouraged to submit nominations for education researchers who have made significant scientific or scholarly contributions to the field to be honored as 熊猫视频Fellows in the 2022 cohort. Established in 2010, the 熊猫视频Fellows Program honors education researchers for their exceptional contributions to, and excellence in, education research. The 2021–2022 Fellows Committee is chaired by Tyrone Howard (UCLA).
“熊猫视频Fellows exemplify the highest standards of excellence through accomplishment, professionalism, and commitment,” said 熊猫视频Executive Director Felice J. Levine. “We welcome nominations of scholars whose contributions and dedication to the field have been ground-breaking, sustained, and inspirational.”
The Call for Nominations includes the requirements for submitting a nomination and the information that the Fellows Committee seeks in reviewing nominations. Most helpful for the committee is that nominators and endorsers have expertise in the area of the nominee’s significant scholarly contributions, or can speak knowledgably about its significance. All nominees, nominators, and endorsers must be current 熊猫视频members. At least one nominator and two endorsers for each nomination must be a current 熊猫视频Fellow.
The deadline for nominations is December 1. Nominations should be submitted through the on the 熊猫视频website.
The 2021 Fellows, announced in the July 熊猫视频Highlights and a press release, will be inducted during a virtual ceremony that will be held on November 8. The event will begin with welcoming remarks from 熊猫视频President Na’ilah Suad Nasir and introductions from 熊猫视频Past President Shaun R. Harper and Executive Director Felice Levine. Daniel Sol贸rzano, who chaired the 2021 Fellows committee, will preside over the induction ceremony. This event concludes with a champagne toast followed by an opportunity for 熊猫视频Fellows to informally gather. All 熊猫视频Fellows are invited to attend.
