David Bills, 66, Professor in Educational Policy and Leadership Studies at the University of Iowa, died on July 15.
Jim Brandon, 72, a distinguished member of the Alberta education community for 50 years, died on August 26.
Laura H. (Hill) Chapman, 86, died on August 17. She was an art educator, Ph.D. in educational research, taught art in Florida Public Schools and held faculty posts at Indiana University, University of Illinois, Ohio State University and University of Cincinnati.
Mike Rose, 77, an esteemed and beloved education research professor at the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies, died on August 15.
Daryl Siedentop, 82, a well-respected faculty member in physical education-teacher education at Ohio State University, died on July 15.
