This year the SIG leadership is working to institute at least one award to be presented during the SIG's business meeting at聽AERA's Annual Meeting. 聽We have a number of options that we are working on and would love to hear from the members regarding which one will be most beneficial to enact first. 聽The choices are:

1. given to someone聽who's career has clearly advanced聽聽the interdisciplinary conversation/work of聽neuroscience and education.聽
2. Outstanding Dissertation Award: given to a grad student who's dissertation work has advanced聽the interdisciplinary conversation/work of聽neuroscience and education.
3. Research-to-Practice Award :聽given to someone who's work has clearly聽advanced聽 the 聽interdisciplinary application聽of聽neuroscience and education.
4. Best Paper Award:聽given to the聽paper presented at AERA's聽聽Annual Meeting deemed most able to聽advance聽the interdisciplinary conversation/work of聽neuroscience聽 and education.聽
