Speakers Will Address Future Opportunities, Challenges for NCES

WHAT:
A Forum and Reception for the National Center for Education Statistics: Commemorating 150 Years of Innovation—and Exploring Future Opportunities

Join policy and research experts for a discussion on the pioneering work of the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), the second oldest federal statistical agency. Looking back—and ahead—speakers will explore NCES’s most important successes, opportunities, and challenges.

For the last 150 years, NCES has served as the primary federal entity for collecting and reporting data related to education in the U.S. and other nations. This event will highlight innovations throughout NCES’ history, as well as address significant questions moving forward.

The event is hosted by the ÐÜèÊÓÆµ, the American Statistical Association, and the Council of Professional Associations on Federal Statistics.
