ÐÜèÊÓƵis pleased to announce a new collaboration with JSTOR on JPASS, a recently introduced individual access offering from JSTOR. Designed for scholars without institutional access to the JSTOR archival collections, JPASS is ideal for ÐÜèÊÓƵmembers working outside the academy. It is also valuable for faculty at institutions with limited subscriptions to JSTOR and for adjuncts with sporadic access to library resources. Regardless of one’s institutional affiliation, JPASS serves as a personal library card to the rich selection of journals on JSTOR.

“Education researchers will benefit from this new collaboration,” said ÐÜèÊÓƵExecutive Director Felice J. Levine. “ÐÜèÊÓƵis committed to exploring ways of expanding access, and we look forward to working with JSTOR on this important new initiative.”

JPASS includes unlimited reading in more than 1,500 journals in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences—over 80% of the JSTOR archive—plus 120 article downloads per year. The collection can be browsed .

For education researchers, JPASS can be a useful research tool. It includes the complete archives of AERA’s journals, as well as other education journals such as Academy of Management Learning & Education (full-text content from 2002 to 2007), Sociology of Education (full-text content from 1963 to 2010), and the Journal of Higher Education (full-text content from 1963 to 2009).

As a JPASS participating publisher, ÐÜèÊÓƵcan offer its members a discounted rate of $99 per year (down 50% from the listed rate). JPASS is administered directly through JSTOR and not AERA.

To sign up, ÐÜèÊÓƵmembers need to log on to the member side of the ÐÜèÊÓƵwebsite and click on the JPASS custom link on the My ÐÜèÊÓƵpage, which leads to the purchase website for ÐÜèÊÓƵmembers.
