Thomas Hehir, 72, died on June 22. He was a professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and had earlier served as director of the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs.
CarolAnne M. Kardash, 69, died on August 27. She was a professor emerita in the College of Education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
