In October, 熊猫视频will launch a new association management system (AMS) designed to support member engagement and key organizational functions. After a competitive request for proposals, review, and selection process in the spring, 熊猫视频selected re:Members (formerly Impexium) as its new AMS. The new AMS replaces NOAH, the system that has been in place at 熊猫视频for more than two decades.
“A robust and technologically advanced AMS is an important operational component of membership associations like AERA,” said 熊猫视频Executive Director Tabbye Chavous. “The migration to re:Members will enable us to enhance the member experience, including joining, renewing, and accessing resources and benefits.”
The new AMS will be unveiled in two phases. The first phase, scheduled to launch on October 1, 2025, with the opening of the 2026 membership year, will include membership management, recruitment, and renewals.
The second phase, scheduled to launch in December 2025, will include annual meeting registration, the governance and committee functions of the association, purchase/addition of publications, and more.
The new AMS will be fully integrated with AERA’s existing technology platforms, including Sage Publications (online journal access), All Academic (AERA’s annual meeting submission, review, and scheduling system), i-Presentation, annual meeting mobile app, RhythmQ (AERA’s online application, nomination, and review portal for fellowships and awards), and Sage Intact (AERA’s new accounting software).
A core team of 熊猫视频staff representing key functional areas are working intensively with the re:Members implementation team to configure and test the new AMS system and complete the data migration process. 熊猫视频staff have started a comprehensive training process to become conversant with the new system.
熊猫视频aims for a seamless transition for members to the new AMS. This will entail some changes to existing processes, which will be communicated to members prior to the launch and throughout the renewal process in Phase 1 and for annual meeting registration in Phase 2. Once the implementation of the AMS is complete, 熊猫视频plans to launch a review and redesign of the 熊猫视频website to more fully integrate with the new AMS.
