Register Your Vaccine Status with SafeAccess Before Traveling to San Diego As part of the entry requirements for the 2022 ÐÜèÊÓÆµAnnual Meeting, all attendees must be fully vaccinated (including booster if eligible) to attend in person. On April 1, ÐÜèÊÓÆµtransitioned from CLEAR to SafeAccess as the vendor responsible for confirming the vaccination status of on-site attendees with U.S. vaccination cards and non-U.S. vaccination cards. On-site attendees who have not already registered with CLEAR need to register with SafeAccess before they arrive in San Diego. On-site attendees who have already registered with CLEAR do not need to take any further action. Read more

Bring Your Masks and Headphones All place-based attendees are required to wear a mask indoors at all ÐÜèÊÓÆµsessions and events, except when eating or drinking. This policy will be enforced even if the city of San Diego does not have a masking mandate. Also, don’t forget your headphones or earbuds to join virtual sessions from San Diego. There will be ample connectivity and spaces available to set up your laptop or device as part of the meeting (no need to run back to your hotel room).

ÐÜèÊÓÆµmembers who have recently passed away
John D. Bransford, 78, Professor Emeritus of Learning Sciences and Psychology at the University of Washington in Seattle, died on April 11. He was an ÐÜèÊÓÆµFellow and co-recipient of the 2001 Review of Research Award. Bransford was a member of Division C–Learning and Instruction and Division K–Teaching and Teacher Education.
Marta Aida Sánchez, 60, an associate professor in the Watson College of Education at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, died on March 15. She served as chair and program chair of the Professors of Educational Research Special Interest Group.
James W. Selgas, 79, who served as director of research and planning, coordinator of psychology, and as a faculty member at Harrisburg Area Community College, died on April 7.
