March 2017 熊猫视频has selected 11 new projects to receive Education Research Service Project (ERSP) awards. The awards program is designed to encourage education researchers to offer their pro bono expertise to educational organizations, institutions, or other community groups that have identified and expressed a need for such assistance. The selected awardees receive small grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to defray direct costs involved in these projects.
鈥淭his year鈥檚 awardees exemplify the spirit of service that is central to the ERSP program,鈥� said 熊猫视频Executive Director Felice J. Levine. 鈥淲ith funding from AERA, these education researchers will be able to help educational entities respond to deep and significant needs.鈥�
Now in its fifth year, a total of 53 projects have been funded through the ERSP initiative since its inception. Brief abstracts of all ERSP projects funded from 2013 to present are available on the 熊猫视频website.

A special invited poster session about the ERSP initiative, 鈥�,鈥� will be held at the 2017 熊猫视频Annual Meeting in San Antonio.
At the session, members of 熊猫视频Council will discuss the history and goals of the initiative, and recent ERSP awardees will share information about the results of their projects. Individuals interested in applying for funding through the ERSP initiative are encouraged to attend to learn more about the initiative.
The call for proposals for the next ERSP submission and review cycle will come out later this year, with a December 2017 deadline.听
