听This call invites scholars, graduate and undergraduate students, K-12 educators, and community activists to share their work as it responds to the conference theme:听Speaking Our Truths:听 A Call to Action to Renew Ourselves and Our Communities.听During a time when academic freedoms and identities are being questioned and attacked, we must find intentional ways to connect to ourselves and each other. We must establish places, like our RWE conference, to amplify our hopes and desires for women and girls in all educational settings.
This conference seeks to answer questions such as:
  • How can we show up in the world in a way that honors our peace and heightens our self-love, to better serve our students, communities, and ourselves?
  • How can we cultivate spaces to incubate a call to action of hope, dignity, renewal, and love for women and girls in education?
  • How do women and girls 鈥渟hine鈥� in educational spaces?
  • What is new and innovative regarding women and girls in educational spaces?听听听听 听听听听

CONFERENCE FORMAT
In addition to paper sessions, our virtual conference will include:
  • Graduate Student Success Workshops
  • Early Career Faculty Workshops
  • Mindfulness and Self-Care Workshops
  • Networking and Career Development Workshops
