Our SIG is dedicated to the dissemination of useful measurement theory and techniques. Our activities include sessions at the ÐÜèÊÓƵAnnual Meeting, the biennial International Objective Measurement Workshop, and local gatherings.

The SIG was founded by Richard M. Smith and Ben Wright (University of Chicago) in 1987.

We welcome colleagues who share the same interests to join us. We manage two awards for junior and senior scholars, separately. Every year, at the ÐÜèÊÓƵannual meeting, we host a business meeting and reception for the SIG members. Award recipients give talks at the meeting. Meanwhile, please consider subscribe the Rasch Measurement Transaction for research notes and announcements in the Rasch community.
