The purpose of the SIG is to promote and maintain discussions about the latest approaches, theories,聽methods, and practices relevant to educational research philosophy and methodology (e.g.,聽quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods) and to generate and disseminate knowledge about effective聽practices for teaching and learning of聽educational research. This聽SIG also will promote dialog and collaboration with聽other social/behavioral science fields in discussing, generating, and promoting advances in research聽practices.

Thank you for visiting our SIG website. As the 2024-2025聽SIG Chair, I'm excited to welcome you into our community and to share some focus initiatives that our leadership team is working on for this year:

1. Interactive sessions for the 2025 熊猫视频Annual Meeting
2. Exploring possibilities for an edited volume concerning teaching educational research.
3. Increasing communication with members.

These initiatives are exciting and extend the work of our past leadership teams. We welcome your ideas and involvement as we work to sustain the SIG.
