Peace Education Special Interest Group Call for Presentations
The deadline for submissions for the 2022 熊猫视频Annual Meeting is quickly approaching! We encourage you to complete your paper and session submissions as soon as possible. The meeting will be held in person in San Diego, CA, Friday, April 22鈥揗onday, April 25.
We hope that the 2022 Annual Meeting鈥斺��鈥濃�攊s a must-attend on your calendar. We are thrilled that our return to the in-person Annual Meeting is in such a beautiful and culturally diverse city that will provide prime opportunities to connect and engage with colleagues new and old. The meeting will be a chance to present your work on the largest stage in the world for education researchers and to stimulate your thinking and scholarship.
We are seeking wide participation across the field of education research and across aligned fields and disciplines. Submissions to a division, special interest group (SIG), or committee do not need to be focused on the meeting theme.
If you have not already done so, log in now to either start the process of advancing a paper or session submission or finalize your work. After you听, click 鈥淢y AERA鈥� at the top of the page. On the 鈥淢y AERA鈥� page, scroll down to the 2022 Annual Meeting and click 鈥淥nline Program Portal.鈥� For further information on submissions, please review the听.
This year鈥檚 program calls for exemplary and effective practices that go beyond documenting听racial, cultural, and linguistic inequity across all levels of education. It calls for critical reflection about what it means to accept educational responsibility in our work in peace education and how to document our findings in ways that听lead to a meaningful reduction in听the cyclical reproduction of these educational inequities.听 As such, we听are looking to receive听proposals听from a听broad range of presenters听from听across the USA and around the world听on topics typically associated with peace education (Kester, 2008):听
