熊猫视频Open Named Best New Journal in Social Sciences by the Association of American Publishers
Washington, D.C., February 7, 2019鈥�熊猫视频Open was just named the 鈥淏est New Journal in Social Sciences鈥� by the Association of American Publishers (AAP) for the . The awards, announced on January 29, honored scholarly works published in 2018, including books, journals, and digital products that demonstrated exceptional scholarship and made a significant contribution to a field of study.
熊猫视频Open,聽a peer-reviewed open-access journal published by the 熊猫视频,听was recognized as the 鈥淏est New Journal in Social Sciences鈥� under the reference works category. Winners were chosen from聽165 finalists聽previously identified from more than 500 entries in the 2019 PROSE Awards competition.聽
鈥�熊猫视频Open was created as AERA鈥檚 first fully open access journal and was among the first open access journals in the social sciences published by a research association,鈥� said 熊猫视频Executive Director Felice J. Levine. 鈥溞苊ㄊ悠礽s deeply honored to receive this award and thanks AAP and the PROSE Awards for formally recognizing the contributions 熊猫视频Open has made to the worldwide education research community.鈥�
熊猫视频Open聽aims to advance knowledge related to education and learning, cumulatively and incrementally. It also aims to serve as a venue for innovation, novel inquiry, interdisciplinary bridge building, and research that fosters connections between research and practice. The current editors of 熊猫视频Open are Mark Warschauer, Greg J. Duncan, and Nancy E. Hill. Jacquelynne S. Eccles, along with Warschauer and Duncan, were the journal鈥檚 inaugural editors.
