Philip Archer, 81, died on May 24. He was a president, board member, and conference co-chair of the Northeastern Educational Research Association.
Marion C. Karl, 94, died on May 21. She retired from the Alleghany Intermediate Unit, a branch of the Pennsylvania Department of Education, where she worked as curriculum coordinator for the Inter-Cultural Understanding Project.
Elsie Gloria Jean Moore Smith, 72, died on February 21. She was a professor in the Mary Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University.
Lynn A. Thomas, 62, died on June 9. She was a professor in the department of pedagogy at the Université de Sherbrooke. Thomas was an active member of the Self-Study of Teacher Education Practices SIG. Read more
