June 2012 The National Science Foundation (NSF) has released a , aimed to support the research and development of creative and informal methods of promoting learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Preliminary proposals are due by August 14, 2012, and final proposals are due by January 14, 2013.
The program was created to invest in and cultivate emerging opportunities for STEM education in a multitude of informal environments, which allow adaptability to individual circumstances and needs.
