DivJ Grads hosts a Book Series for multiple purposes, each contributing to enriching knowledge, fostering community engagement, and promoting intellectual discourse.

We want to recognize and highlight the importance of books in higher education as both sources of knowledge and as catalysts for transformation and progress.

Together, we embrace the opportunity to deepen our understanding and shape the future of learning and scholarship.

Doctoral Mentoring Program
Print

The Doctoral Mentoring Program offers a supportive transition experience for first- and second-year doctoral students by pairing them with upper-level doctoral students who can help unlock the hidden curriculum of academia. We hope this mentoring program engages students’ resource-sharing, constructive feedback, and community that positions students for a successful doctoral journey.Ìý

The program structure for mentors/mentees includes 1 (one) meeting between September and December, 1 (one) meeting between January and April, and an in-person meet-up at the 2025 ÐÜèÊÓƵannual conference.Ìý

TheÌýDoctoral Mentoring Program is currently closed until we have an updated Google form for the 2024-2025 year.

#DivJChat

#DivJChat is an initiative meant to foster conversation about a hot-topic in higher education amongst the Division J community. #DivJChat leverages Twitter’s open and engaging platform and insights from renowned scholars who are invited as guest facilitators to provide access and visibility to important conversations that are influencing higher education. Typically we host 2-4 DivJ chats throughout the academic year.
